With safety priority in the development of friction materials, Cobreq, one of the TMD Friction group’s brands, invests in technology and greener solutions to produce NABK brake linings. Indicated for heavy line, the parts present excellent braking at high temperatures, with low wear and great mechanical resistance.
“Tested in different environments and operating conditions, following international safety standards and low abrasion with the drum, which provides lower maintenance costs, the tarps combine the technical advantages with the use of noble and environmentally friendly materials in their production, free from substances and elements harmful to health and the environment ”, comments Raulincom Borges da Silva, technical assistance coordinator at TMD Friction.
The tarps were divided into NABK 140, NABK 140 C and NABK 142, meeting specifications of different types of heavy vehicles.
NABK 140
Suitable for general purpose trucks, the item offers high braking performance, without compromising its durability and compatibility with the brake drum.
NABK 140 C
The material is indicated for carts, trailers and 3rd axle, combining high performance during braking and moderate wear of the linings and drums, thus resulting in a high cost-benefit ratio.
NABK 142
The material was designed for commercial vehicles with different types of road, such as buses (urban, rural work, etc.) and trucks (sugar cane, mining, garbage collection, etc.) that work from “normal” to “heavier” regimes, because its characteristics of greater mechanical resistance and performance stability at high temperatures provide superior braking performance and reduced wear rate.
