Cobreq, a brand of TMD Friction, the largest brake pad manufacturer in the world, will be present at the 14th Automec (International Fair of Autoparts, Equipment and Services) from 23 to 27 April in São Paulo Expo.  The company will expose the new technologies developed in brake pads, tarpaulins and shoes to serve motorcycles, light, commercial and heavy vehicles for the National and South American market.

One of the main innovations presented to the market will be the first brake pad with ceramic technology produced for motorcycles in Brazil. Developed jointly with Research and Development teams from Brazil, England and Germany, the ceramic insert serves high-octane and off-road motorcycle lines (for all types of terrain and motocross, supercross and enduro motorcyclists. benefits, the new pellet has excellent friction stability and increased durability, providing more safety and comfort to motorcyclists.

Another novelty that will be on display during Automec is the heavy-duty brake pad produced with a new friction material, which presents excellent efficiency results and high durability. Developed to meet truck and bus lines, the new product offers excellent durability, reducing fleet maintenance costs.

According to the marketing manager of TMD Friction do Brasil, Fábio Merighi, investments in products with new technologies further consolidate the position of Cobreq, which invests constantly in research and development to provide the market with ever more secure products with excellent performance.

“The new technologies were developed at the new TMD Friction – Cobreq plant in Salto, in the interior of São Paulo, to meet the most rigorous and severe applications of the two-wheeler segment, with the objective of delivering high performance products, quality and especially safety. Automec, held every two years, is a business fair and stage of major launches and negotiation of the automotive sector.
