TMD Friction, the world’s largest manufacturer of Cobreq brand brake pads, announces Fábio Merighi as the new aftermarket director in South America.
With extensive experience in business strategy and marketing for various industry sectors, Merighi has stints in companies such as Manserv and SKF. At TMD do Brasil, he held the position of marketing, pricing and BI manager since March 2018.
Graduated in advertising and marketing, the executive has a postgraduate degree in business management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), an MBA in marketing and an international specialization in leadership, management and coaching.
According to Edilson Jaquetto, President of TMD Friction Brazil, Merighi’s performance in the company contributed significantly to the restructuring of the sales and marketing area. “His appointment as director of aftermarket aims to accompany market changes and meet the respective challenges of the organization and its network of distributors,” he says.
With the challenge of leading the aftermarket sales team with strategies to keep growing in the market, Merighi says she is motivated and confident with the new role. “South America is of great importance to the company’s business and one of its main goals is to further enhance the brand’s presence in the region,” he says.
