The exhibition “Duas Rodas e Uma Nação”, which retrieves the history of 120 years of motorcycle racing in Brazil, has the support of Cobreq, TMD Friction brand, the largest brake pad manufacturer in the world. Curated by Motostory, the show runs until March 1st at the Municipal Museum of Socorro, in the interior of São Paulo.

With free admission, the exhibition brings together documents, furniture and many rare motorcycles, which belong to the Moto Classic Museum collection, as well as the Remaza Collection, the Phelo & Moore of 1918 and which belongs to Edgard Soares, and the ancient Triumph Type H, 1915, from TecMoto.

Conceived by Carlãozinho Coachman, historian, journalist specialized in motorcycles and passionate motorcyclist, the show is the result of much research, with numerous archives and contributions from riders and motorcycling enthusiasts who passed on their experiences on two wheels to the “garimpeiros” of Motostory Brasil .

According to Coachman, Cobreq’s support since 2016 is of fundamental importance in the development of the research that resulted in the most complete exposure of the Motostory project. “Cobreq believed in the proposal to preserve the memory of motorcycling in the country, contributing in a valuable way to the silent and necessary work that is research, essential for the realization of the show”, he comments.

The exhibition is also part of the project “Socorro, Destino Duas Rodas” and opens the city’s events calendar at the Municipal Museum. Consolidated as an important pole for adventure tourism in Brazil, the municipality also wants to become the meeting point for motorists and cyclists.
